Privacy
No cookies, no trackers
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts, images and video are served from this domain, so visiting the site sends your data to no one else. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare briefly processes visitor IP addresses in its server logs to deliver pages and prevent abuse. We do not receive or store that information.
If you email us
When you submit a film or write to us, we keep your name, email address and the details of your film for one purpose: running the festival. That covers judging, the shortlist, the screening in York and prize payment. We do not sell or share your details with anyone. Jurors see your film and your name, nothing else. We delete submission records within twelve months of the festival ending.
Your film
The rights to your film stay with you. Selection gives us permission to screen it once in York and to use stills and the title to promote the festival. Nothing more.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@jpegfilmfestival.com and a person will reply.
